Rdesktop Autoselected Keyboard Map En-us Error Unable To Connect

Hi,Rdesktop autoselected keyboard map en-us error unable to connect
I've tried using rdesktop to remote desktop to my XP machine. This machine is on the same LAN, both connected via Ethernet cables through a switch. I'm a bit of a beginner at using Linux, so please treat me as an idiot!

[ERROR][com.freerdp.core.connection] - license connection sequence aborted. Freerdp connect error. 168.2.2 Autoselected keyboard map en-us.

I've installed rdesktop using:That worked fine...
The current IP address of my XP machine is: 192.168.1.71Rdesktop Autoselected Keyboard Map En-us Error Unable To Connect
Now in trying to run rdesktop, I'm trying this:

Code: Select all

...and getting this back:It spends some time trying, about 20 to 30 seconds perhaps, so it's like it's really trying, and not just bombing out immediately...
I wonder if I need anything in addition to the IP address; In the rdesktop guidance it says:

Rdesktop Autoselected Keyboard Map En-us Error Unable To Connect

Code: Select all

What is the ':port' part about? Do I need to find any more information from my XP machine? If so, what and how?
I've tried 'the switch's IP address':192.168.1.71 and still no joy. I've also tried using the mac address for 'port', and still no joy...
Any help is really appreciated,
Cheers, Scott.
